Computer vision is the field of AI and computer science concerned with enabling machines to interpret and act on visual information from images, video, or sensors. It supports tasks such as object detection, image classification, facial analysis, medical imaging, and visual inspection.
An interdisciplinary scientific field that deals with how computers can be made to gain high-level understanding from digital images or videos. From the perspective of engineering, it seeks to automate tasks that the human visual system can do.
