A machine learning model is a mathematical or computational construct that generates predictions, classifications, or other inferences from input data. It is produced by an algorithm that learns patterns or parameters from data and then applies them to new cases.
The algorithm, instructions, and rules an AI system or machine learning system uses to learn patterns and make decisions. Machine learning model is sometimes used interchangeably with machine learning algorithm. Examples include: Random Forest and Neural Networks.
