Area Under The ROC Curve (AUC) ist eine branchenübliche Metrik zur Bewertung binärer Klassifikationsmodelle über Entscheidungsschwellen hinweg. Sie misst, wie gut ein Modell positiven Beispielen höhere Werte zuweist als negativen Beispielen, wobei Werte näher an 1 auf stärkere Trennfähigkeit und Werte nahe 0,5 auf geringe Rangordnungsfähigkeit hinweisen.
