Procedural memory is an agent's retained knowledge of how to carry out a task or workflow. In agentic systems, it can support repeated operations such as searching, tool use, formatting outputs, or executing multi-step procedures more consistently.
In agents, the knowledge of how to do something. For example,
an agent might develop a procedural memory of how to search the web and
then display the top three sites.
