False Negative (FN) is an error in which a model predicts the negative class when the true class is positive. In practice, it means the system fails to detect a condition, event, or item that is actually present.
An example in which the model mistakenly predicts the negative class. For example, the model predicts that a particular email message is not spam (the negative class), but that email message actually is spam.
