EMD (Earth Mover's Distance) is a measure of the difference between two probability distributions or weighted sets. It can be understood as the minimum cost of transforming one distribution into another, with lower values indicating greater similarity.
A measure of the relative similarity of two distributions. The lower the earth mover's distance, the more similar the distributions.
