Algorithmic Impact Assessment (AIA) is a structured review of the likely effects of an algorithmic or AI system on people, organizations, and society. It commonly examines risks such as fairness, safety, privacy, accountability, and human rights, and may be used alongside privacy impact assessment where personal information is processed.
